On Saturday, 13th October 2024, members of our Culture Committee, along with representatives from our Executive Committee and club members, organised a visit to Glasnevin Cemetery. This outing provided the opportunity to pay respects at the resting places of some of Ireland’s most courageous figures, who played pivotal roles throughout various periods of the country’s struggle for freedom. On the way home they stop at the memorial to Aidan McAnespie to pay our respects to a fellow Gael.
