The week kicked off with a promising match for the U14 Boys against Greenlough at home on Monday evening at 7 pm. Despite the outcome, the young lads are gaining valuable experience with each game, showing determination and potential for future successes.

Youth Hurling Excitement:
Friday was an exhilarating day for hurling enthusiasts as the U9 Go Games Hurling event unfolded. The young players not only showcased their skills but also gained valuable experience by competing against top teams from Derry and Tyrone, highlighting the club’s commitment to challenging and nurturing talent at a young age.

Exciting Senior Match and Remarkable Victory:
Friday also saw an exciting clash as the Seniors faced Dolans at home at 7:30 pm. It was a remarkable victory that got the league off to a fantastic start, showcasing the team’s prowess and determination on the field. Special thanks go to coach Stephen for creating a great squad and atmosphere this season, which is evident in the depth of talent available for selection. A great crowd of supporters added to the atmosphere, cheering the team on to victory.

Diverse Weekend Competitions:
Saturday was bustling with activity, starting with the U10 Go Games Girls event, emphasizing inclusivity and skill-building among young female players.

The G4MO blitz on Saturday was a highlight, featuring teams from Slaughtmanus, Convoy, Drumragh, Faughanvale, and Foreglen. A special thanks to Slaughtmanus for hosting this event, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among teams.

Sunday Showcases Youth Development:
The weekend wrapped up with a focus on youth development, including U11 Boys Go Games and a U16 challenge game against Strabane Sigersons. These events provided invaluable playing time, nurturing talent and teamwork within the club.

Overall, the week showcased the club’s commitment to youth development, exciting senior matches, and fostering a sense of community through sportsmanship and collaboration.
